Ten images from my fifth Photo Arts assignment.
Our assignment this past week was to photograph “place.” I chose to head to the George Eastman House, a staple of the town of Rochester’s history. I felt that this museum/exhibition space is very idealized and perfectly arranged.
For this assignment, I tried to capture the house in a different, more uncanny light. When the house is closed to the public there’s something very unsettling about it, and I did my best to communicate that within my ten images. Enjoy.
